Make your conference or event budget go further with our winter offer

If you’re planning a conference or event, one of the most important elements you will have to control is the budget. Whilst we would all love the opportunity to have a limitless budget, we all have to account for costs.

How can you make your budget go further?

Plan out your budget and include all your basic costs e.g. venue hire, printing of delegate packs and then look at the potential extra costs that could be added on top e.g. sound system, projector hire and whether they are really needed for the event.

If you do use certain items on a regular basis and are paying out for its continued hire, it may be worth investigating whether it would be cheaper to purchase the item. Make sure you look at how many times in a year it would be used and what the initial purchase cost would be, against the hire cost.

Why not get more for your money?

Whenever you book a conference/event it’s important to offer delegates refreshments. Not only will the refreshment break allow attendees to stretch their legs and check emails it also provides the opportunity to network. Using this time to talk to attendees is valuable as you could meet a potential client or strengthen existing client relationships.
