Thirsk Racecourse
Thirsk Racecourse is one of Yorkshire’s most beautiful country courses, situated midway between London and Edinburgh, with the North York Moors and the Yorkshire Dales as a back drop.
Easy access by road, rail or air this is a venue with a difference offering a choice of meeting rooms to accommodate 10–300 delegates in a relaxing environment, plus lawned areas for marquees if required.
The Hambleton Rooms offer a large banqueting/conference room with an adjoining reception room, providing fully contained facilities for up to 200 guests. With 2 large rooms, The Manton Suite is particularly suited to functions involving more than one activity, eg. a day conference with full catering. Grimthorpe Hall is a modern building close to the main entrance to the Racecourse and with ample parking nearby within the grounds.
The Garden Room is an intimate venue housed in a small modern building close to the Parade Rings. On Race Days it is used as an exclusive Lounge Bar for owners and trainers. Access is 100m along Station Road from the main course entrance.
